It's always show time in The Studio with the offer of singing, dancing and acting classes and performances.


Theatre Street Performing Arts offer dance classes during the week for everyone aged 2.5 years-adults; street, hip hop, ballet, tap, jazz, Zumba™ and more.

They also offer Performing Arts Workshops on Saturdays which will include dancing, singing and drama for 4-17 year olds and a range of fantastic school holiday courses.

All this from The Studio, The Link Thamesmead's 160 seat performance space, which is available for hire.

Theatre Street is a British Theatre Dance Association (BTDA) registered school and accredited by the Council for Dance Education and Training (CEDT) with a ten year history of 100% pass rates in all exams. Our tutors are all experienced professionals and are standards are high, but we make sure that classes are a fun, positive and creative environment for young people.

Performing Arts

Saturday sessions will be dedicated to performing arts workshops that features dance, drama and singing for children aged 4-7, 8-10, 11-13 and 14+. We have been running in the local area for 10 years and our young people have gone on to appear in West End shows including Shrek and Oliver, on TV including actress Saffron Coomber, one of the stars of Tracy Beaker Returns and other professional work in the industry, or onto further training in performing arts.

With cardio and resistance machines, classes and nutrition advice on offer, what are you waiting for?


Thamesmead Gym has offered a wide-range of equipment, classes, one-to-one training and nutrition advice from its arch which is based at The Link Thamesmead, for more than 30 years.

Equipment

We recently received a grant, which we are spending on updating and buying new equipment, including cardio vascular and resistant machines, mats, free weights and boxing.

Classes

Coming soon - Boxing, Thai boxing, wrestling, MMA cage fighting and boxercise classes, as well as circuit training, step aerobics, bums & tums, spin cycle, Pilates, yoga, women's only training, Strongest  Man competition and classes for under 16s.

Take the fast track to motorbike mechanics, media studies, cookery and photography courses.


Archway Project offers 14 accredited courses in everything from off-road motorbike mechanics and riding, cookery, photography, media studies and I.T.

Established in 1982 and mainly working with schools and closed groups, Archway Project has helped more than 1000 young people gain accreditation and taken more than 420 of them on residentials in the U.K. and across mainland Europe.

The sky is the limit for the Thamesmead school pupils who enter this arch, as they build a brighter future.


Pathways Short Stay School will be supporting various schools from The Link Thamesmead with an array of alternative provision aimed at Key Stages 1-4.

Individuals will learn lots on the subject matter their school outlines and no doubt we will be joining in the fun, with the rest of you, using the fantastic facilities that are going to be available to us at The Link.
